The Feast of Tabernacles is the least celebrated feast by churches because it does not have a corresponding historical event warranting Christian observance. It is a forward looking feast with a future fulfillment. It is the only one of the three feasts that the Bible specifically says will be celebrated during the Messianic era. It is a feast that celebrates God’s faithfulness to the wondering Israelites during their time in dessert as well as a reminder that their stay there is only temporary. What does this feast mean to us now as Christians living here on earth hoping for the coming of our king and our eternal place with Him in His Kingdom.
